Waiting On Wednesday (17)

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly Meme hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine. It is an opportunity for us to show books we can't wait to get our hands on.

This week, I'm waiting for:

Author: John Green
Release Date: January 10th, 2012
Publisher: Dutton

Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel s story is about to be completely rewritten.

Insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw, The Fault in Our Stars is award-winning author John Green s most ambitious and heartbreaking work yet, brilliantly exploring the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love.
You can listen to John Green read Chapter 1 and Chapter 2.
Plus EVERY PRE-ORDER WILL BE SIGNED!

  2. I'm so excited for this one! I love the way they have the blurbs around the cover. Normally, I won't get this one. John Green is awesome and all that but yeah. But I heard him read the first chapter and I was hooked.

  5. I've never read John Green before - this sounds like one of those box-of-Kleenex books? Ever since Erich Segal's Love Story, I'm afraid to read a book with romance and cancer. :)

    Hope you love it!

  35. I haven't heard of this one before, but when I was a teenager I had a huge soft spot for books with terminally ill main characters. I'm still not entirely sure why, but this might appeal to that part of me.

    Thanks for stopping by!
