  1. Casual Vacancy is a good book even if it wasn't my sort of thing. I heard it was a mystery when I started it but it's definitely more a story of small town life. The last chapter made the entire book, in my opinion so stick with it even if you feel tempted to abandon it.

  2. Great list. I haven't read any of these. I always get sucked in at book sales buying everything just because it's a good price but then the books never become a priority. Plus there are always new books coming out that tempt me to read them before I finish what I have.

  7. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who still has to read the Casual Vacancy! :) I read Jinx years ago and liked it, although I have the feeling that I wouldn't like it as much now, if you know what I mean.

    Great list!

  8. I need to read 13 as well, but haven't had it in the TBR nearly as long as the ten I chose for my list. If I haven't gotten to it by this time next year it'll be an honorary add on :)

  10. The Casual Vacancy was one that I HAD TO HAVE and actually read right away! It was very different from what I normally read and was quite slow, but I still enjoyed it! Thanks for dropping by earlier- New Follower via GFC!
