I had heard many great reviews about this book, so I really had to pick it up and read it. I was really happy about finally reading it. It was really good. I wasn’t disappointed.

The story was good. I just couldn’t put the book down once I started. I just found it so entertaining. It was funny and I just loved it. The ending was really good, and made me really excited for the sequel. I just can’t wait to read what will happen next.

The characters were really good. Ellie is just really believable to me. She doesn’t just accept whatever she is told about her power and her destiny like some characters seem to do. She is a really normal teenager. Well, except for all the rich thingy. That’s the only thing that annoyed me. Still, I adore Ellie. Then, there’s Will! I completely adore Will. He is just such a nice guy, and OMG I can’t believe that he is that into protecting Ellie. It is kind of cute, kind of creepy, but I loved it anyway.

I really can’t wait to read more from Courtney. It is a really good Debut, and she is an amazing author that I will happily read again and again.

I would give this book a good 4.5/5. If you haven’t read it yet, you should!

It was quite difficult for me to write this review. I was unsure what to write.

First of all, I must say that the plot disappointed me. I just thought wasn’t that much happening. There was nothing that really held my attention, nothing that captivated me. I just felt like I was reading about someone’s trip to Barcelona, a normal trip. The ending was okay, a happy ending for the characters. It fitted well with the story, but it didn’t blow me away.

The characters were okay. I could see them being real, I could imagine myself meeting them, but I feel like she could have given us more about them. I felt like something was missing. Olivia was a great girl, Greg a nice boy, but nothing else really stood out from the characters. (Except, of course, the annoying side of Lenny.)

The writing was probably the best thing about this story. I love how she writes, I love the descriptions. It is really one of the main reasons I could go through that book like I did.

Overall, it is a short book, nicely written. Yet, I still feel like there was something missing from it, some action perhaps. I wish she could have written something longer; to make it seems more complete.

Reading. Where? I read everywhere, and I'll probably chck the ABEA everywhere. I just got myself an Iphone (a great gift from me to me with love for surviving college.) which will help me stay connected everywhere. Yet, my favorite place is certainly in my bed. There is no better place to enjoy a great book. With a good cup of coffee? That's what I call paradise!

Review: Mercy

I had heard little about this book, before picking it up and reading it. I was nicely surprised about this book, even thought it wasn’t exactly what I was expecting.

The plot is interesting, but it has a slow pace. It wasn’t a bad thing. I enjoy taking the time to really get into the story, and by doing do, I was able to understand more of the character. The story may be about a heaven cast out, yet you can relate to her. After all, aren’t we as teenagers looking for who we really are? Mercy is seeking the truth about her identity, and she is tempted while doing so by the “dark side” (if you want to call it that).  The ending was beautiful and sad, but I loved it. I’m really excited about the sequel.

I loved Mercy. She really is my favorite character in this book. She is trying to do the best she can to help someone she doesn’t really know, even if the one “person” she knows and love tells her not to do so. She is looking for who she is, yet she isn’t tempted by the easy way out of everything. She is reading to fight for what she thing is right. I like that in a character. What I loved most about her is that she isn’t perfect. A perfect character really annoys me. She makes mistakes like everyone. Ryan is an amazing brother. He doesn’t want to give up on his sister, even if everyone has. If I had a brother, I wish he could be half as devoted to his sister as Ryan was.

Rebecca Lim has found in me a new fan of her books. I really can’t wait to get my hand on the sequel.

A perfect book if you’re looking for a beautiful and slow book. Sometime it is nice to enjoy a good story instead of just rushing through it to know the end.

I really like the Sookie Stackhouse. It’s a series that has everything I could like, love, action, humor, and more! I just can’t not enjoy.

The story is a nice continuation of the series. There is always something going on. I’m always laughing when I read these books. Still, I must say that it is not as good as the first ones. I kind of enjoy the TV series a little more now than the book (Shame on me, I know, but good what can I say. Vampire Eric makes the show for me!) The ending is good, like always. It makes me want to read the next one so badly. This series is simply addicting to me. If you enjoyed the series, you will like this one, because it is like the rest of the books: Funny, captivating and enjoyable.

What can I say about the characters… I want a vampire like vampire Eric? God, I’m completely Team Eric, especially if you look at the character in the TV show. Alexander Skarsgård anyone? I just can’t resist. Yes, he can be an ass sometimes, but come on, can you really resist him? Sookie gets on my nerves sometimes, but I still like her as a main character. We also see Alcide a little in the book, and I have to say I was happy to see him back, even if it was only for a couple of pages. Pam is my favorite female character of the book. She makes me laugh so hard! She's so funny, even if she doesn’t want to be funny. I adore her. If I had to have a vampire friend, I would want her. At least with her, I would know that she’s honest…(sometimes too honest, but still, I love her!)

I enjoy Charlaine Harris writing style, but honestly, I really want to read more from her. I want to read new characters from her. Yes, I’ll be sad when the series comes to an end, but I want something new. We have been with Sookie for a while, I’m just curious for more.

Honestly, if you love this series, you’ll enjoy the eleventh book of the series. Still, tell me if you hope that the series will go one forever, or if like me, you kind of want to see the end of it. It’s not that I don’t enjoy the series anymore; I simply want the series to end on a high note. I don’t want to read the last book when I’m completely bored with Sookie.

I would give it a 4/5, because I absolutely love this series, and this book is a nice addition to it.

Ahh Linger. A book I was really excited to read because I had enjoyed Shiver. Yet, I was really disappointed with this one. It just didn’t live up to my expectations.

First, the story was really slow. I couldn’t get into the story. It was painful by moment. At some point, I just wanted to get over with it, so I could start a new book. I just wished the real plot could have started earlier. It took too long before something really happened. The best part of the plot was the ending, which I think was interesting. It made me interested in knowing what would happen next. It’s probably the main reason why I will read Forever.

Some of the characters I really liked, some not so much. I like Sam. He is probably my favorite character of this series. Grace just always acted like she couldn’t live without Sam, which really got on my nerves. She just acted so weak sometime. Isabel can be a hell of a B****. Cole was such an ass. I understand that he wants to forget, but really, does he have to act like he does all the time? Arg. Really didn’t like him. Don’t try to make us feel bad about your life dude.

I think Maggie Stiefvater writes beautifully. Yet, in this book, one thing really annoyed the heck out of me: The Four Points of View. Four is way too much. I was lost every time I picked my book after taking a break of reading. Not fun. I really hope forever doesn’t have that many of them.

Overall, I was disappointed. I’m still hoping Forever will be better. 2.5/5

I had heard a lot of good comments about this book. I was curious about what the story was about, but I ended up slightly disappointed.

First, the story was kind of slow for me. A flower that comes out of her back? Original, but slightly strange. The beginning was really slow. It took me a while before I could really say that I was in the story. Half way through the book, I start enjoying it. The ending was okay, but I had expected something better again.

The characters were okay. Laurel was annoyed most of the time. I just didn’t like her reactions. She just acted too strangely sometimes. David really got on my nerves. I prefer Tam all the way. There just something about him that is so nice, so strong and so perfect. He wants her, that’s for sure. He knows what she really is, where I felt like David really wanted her because she was different. I’m soo team Tam!

The writing was okay. It was easy to read and to follow. It didn’t really make a big impact on my reading, so I can’t really say much about it.

I was disappointed, but I liked it. I want to read what will happen next. I would give this book a 3/5, but I’m really hoping it will get better in Spells.

I bought this book in February, because I knew it was a debut. I didn’t know much about it, so when I ended reading it a couple of days ago, I way nicely surprised.

The story was good. It was captivating and interesting. It was original, but I found it hard to imagine Atlanta like that only in 8 years. I can’t really imagine that. I would have set it a little later, just to make it easier to believe. Still, it was really good. After a couple of pages, I was hooked. The ending is really great, and it opens a door for more, the sequel coming out in a couple of months.

The characters were really great. Riley was fun and believable. I wish I could be friend with her. Her father seems like a really great father, even if we don’t see him much in the book. I like Simon, but I mush say that I find him annoying with his faith. It just seems strange that he believes that much, but he wants to be a trapper. I absolutely love Beck. He is so awesome! I wish I could have a Beck in my life *Sigh*.

I really like Oliver’s writing. I can’t wait to read more from her. I like the dual perspective. It helps us understand the story more, by seeing both Beck’s and Riley’s point of view.

I really enjoy the story. I’m really excited for the sequel. It was the perfect entertaining book to get me through the end of the semester.

Review: Die For Me

First of all, can I say that that I absolutely love the new cover? Isn’t gorgeous? I want it on my shelf as soon as I can. Not only is it gorgeous, it is also really good!

When I first started reading this book, I was a little skeptical. I just wasn’t sure were it was going. After a couple of pages, I was getting deeper and deeper into the story, to the point where I ended up staying up really late to finish it. (2am is never a good time to go to bed when you have to go to school really early in the morning. Bad idea.) Yet, I don’t regret my really short night, because it was good. The ending makes me curious for more, even thought she doesn’t leave us with a mean cliffhanger. I still want to know what will happen with Kate and Vincent. My only problem with the story honestly was that it was to short. I wanted more! I wish there had been at least 50 more pages, at least to completely satisfy me. I guess I’ll have to wait for the next one instead.

The characters at first didn’t click with me. Yet, the more I read, the more I ended up liking them. Kate is a really great character, yet I wish she had freaked out a little more when she learned what Vincent was. If it had been me, I would have freaked out way more, probably using a few swear to make my point. Vincent is great, but I liked Jules more. I love his flirty side with Kate. He always makes me smile. I didn’t really like Georgia, simply because she seemed a little full of herself at some points.

I really liked Plum’s debut novel. I can’t wait to read more form her, and hopefully, I won’t have to wait that long!

I would give it a 4/5, mainly because I wish it had been longer.

I was really hoping to enjoy this book. I was really intrigued by the story and the cover, but I just couldn’t get into the book at first. After a while, I ended liking it, but I was disappointed that I didn’t love it.

The story was slow to start, and I just felt like something wasn’t for me. Yet, I can’t really say what exactly. I just couldn’t believe the story. There was simply something that didn’t work for me. Yet I really want to know what will happen next, because the ending left me wondering about what will happen next. The ending was okay, but it didn’t blow me away. There are still a lot of things left unsaid. I can’t wait to discover them.

The characters were too cliché at first, but after a while, I learn to like them. Alex just annoyed me at first. There was something about her that made me cringe. Maybe it is the way she changed her belief quite fast. She is all about the environment and helping the other, but she becomes one of the superficial girl really soon. After a while, you get used to who she is, and I was able to enjoy her story a little. Hayes and Madison were fun characters for me. I liked Hayes, but I find her sometimes just too nice. I felt like she was fake. Madison was simply amazing. She felt real. She was a bitch most of the time, but I liked that she didn’t try to play the friend to Alex imply because she was supposed to. She doesn’t like her at first, and she won’t pretend.

I enjoy Crouch’s writing. It was fun, and I like how she tells the story. I can’t wait to read more books from her.

I would give it a 3/5, because there was something that annoyed me. I felt like it took me a while to really get into the story.

I find it hard to write a review for a sequel. If you haven’t read this series yet, you can read my review for the first one HERE and for the second one HERE.

I’m going to be completely honest… I liked it! This series gets better with every book. I love the story, it keeps me addicted and begging for more. The characters are just so great. I love Chloe. I adore Derek. Simon makes me laugh. Tori is less annoying. I love how the romantic aspect is included, without making it seems fake.

Yet, there is one problem…. WHAT KIND OF ENDING IS THAT? I just don’t think it is the best end she could have given us, simply because it doesn’t seem to tie the loose ends. I was just hoping for a little more closure.

Still, I adore you, Kelley Armstrong. She is an amazing writer, for both Young Adult and Adult. You should definitely check her out.

4/5. Why? Because the ending is missing something. There are too many unanswered questions to really satisfy me.
