It's been three years since the devastating accident ... three years since Mia walked out of Adam's life forever.
Now living on opposite coasts, Mia is Julliard's rising star and Adam is LA tabloid fodder, thanks to his new rock star status and celebrity girlfriend. When Adam gets stuck in New York by himself, chance brings the couple together again, for one last night. As they explore the city that has become Mia's home, Adam and Mia revisit the past and open their hearts to the future - and each other.
Told from Adam's point of view in the spare, lyrical prose that defined If I Stay, Where She Went explores the devastation of grief, the promise of new hope, and the flame of rekindled romance.

I’m speechless again this week. I just adored this book.

The plot is beautiful. No, there is not an awful lot of action, but it doesn’t matter. The beauty of this book is the emotional part for me. I love all the flashbacks Adam has, so we can understand what happened. I was smiling all the way through the book, unable to put it down. The ending made me happy, and it made me smile. I just loved it, and I really want to re-read it, but it will have to wait.

What can I say about the characters? I loved Adam. Yes, he became a stereotype of rock star, the unhappy and angry rock star that has millions of fan. Still, it’s all the emotional part of this book, which helps us understand him that makes me fall in love with him. He never really moved on. Mia changed, that’s for sure. She isn’t the same girl that faced death. She is so strong, yet she can’t seem to completely take control of her life. After all, not all the choices she made were the one she really wanted in a way.

Gayle Forman writes beautifully. I love how she can play with her characters’ emotion so easily, and still make it believable. She is a master at what she does. I raise my cup of hot chocolate for you, and I’m waiting for more!

This book deserves it 5/5. I don’t know if Mia and Adam’s story will continue, but I’m waiting for more books from Forman!

Now, I must go to bed, before my brain goes even crazier!
