I hadn’t read much about this book, so I didn’t really know what to expect. I wasn’t really disappointed, but neither was I really surprised.

The biggest problem I had with the story was really the love and how fast it developed between Lindsey and Aiden. I’m not a big believer when it comes to love at first sight. It’s just that it was too fast, especially since Aiden is supposed to come from a century where it was all about courtship and all that stuff. The story may be really cute, a nice love story, but I wished the love aspect could have taken a little longer to blossom. The story itself was good, and the ending simply beautiful. I enjoyed it, and I’m curious to know what will happen next.

The characters were nice, but I couldn’t really relate to them because of the religion factor. It is a thing I have a little problem with right now. I don’t particularly enjoy books that put too much emphasis on religion, simply because I believe it is something really personal. I don’t really can put myself in her shoes; because I don’t share the same believe as her. That kind of annoyed me a little. Yet, I really liked Aiden, I just wish we could have seen a little more of the gentlemen side. After all, he gave me the impression of really being one, so I would have liked to see him court Lindsey instead of doing everything really fast.

I liked Cyndi Tefft writing. I think it was beautifully written, and I’m interested  in reading more from her.

I enjoy the story, but I can’t say I’m completely in love with it. I would give it a 3/5.

Last thing, I would recommend this book to a more mature audience of YA lover, because there is a little more than just romance sometime.
